Why is my Water Flosser leaking?
When used correctly Colgate Blast Water Flosser will not leak. Before you turn on your Water Flosser check the following:
1. The nozzle is fully inserted into the water flosser unit and sits flush against the top of your water flosser unit
2. The nozzle "clicked" when inserted.
3. The nozzle cannot be pulled out without the release button being pressed simultaneously.
4. Now you are ready to go - Happy Water Flossing!
How to Water Floss like a Pro
If you're new to using a water flosser here are some helpful tips. Place the nozzle tip in your mouth and purse your lips around it before you turn your water flosser on. Position yourself above the sink and lean forward so any extra water can flow out of your mouth and into the sink. If you prefer you can also use Colgate Blast in the shower as it is water resistant.
Can I put mouthwash in my Water Flosser?
Yes! You can fill the water tank with cold or warm water (up to 40C) or mouthwash. After use, drain and rinse out the water tank so your Colgate Blast Water Flosser is ready for its next use.
What pressure settings should I use?
Colgate Blast Water Flosser comes with 3 pressure settings: Gentle (low pressure mode), Regular (regular pressure mode for daily cleaning), Pulse (pulsation pattern for gum massaging). We recommend new users start with Gentle which is also the default setting. TIP: Colgate Blast Water Flosser will switch back on in the last pressure setting used.
How do I charge my Water Flosser?
Ensure power is turned OFF and the water tank is empty. Insert the USB charging cord into the charging port and attach the USB end to a power adaptor. Plug this into an outlet. When charging, the indicator light flashes green. The flashing stops once the device is fully charged. The indicator light will flash red when the battery is low.
Can I use my Water Flosser while it's charging?
No. Your Colgate Blast Water Flosser should be turned off and the water tank emptied while the device is charging.
How do I fill my Water Flosser?
Open the water tank, then pull the tank down to the marked line. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with either cold/lukewarm water or mouthwash. After filling the tank, close the cover firmly and dry off any excess water. TIP: Do not push the tank back into the water flosser body when it is filled.
How do I insert/remove the nozzle?
Remove the nozzle from the package and insert it into the nozzle jack at the top of your device until it clicks into place. A correctly inserted nozzle will sit flush against the top of the water flosser. To remove the nozzle, press and hold the eject button on the side of your device and gently pull the nozzle upwards. To store, place the nozzle in the storage compartment accessible at the top of your Colgate Blast Water Flosser.
