In addition, the safe handle button feature helps prevent children from inadvertently opening the door, while the built-in door position sensor alerts users if the door is still open. The auto-lock sensor detects the door’s status and promptly throws the bolt, preventing anyone from following a user into their home. The Privacy switch is a truly unique security feature that allows users to disable external authentication methods by switching ON from the inside, rendering it impossible to unlock the lock without employing the provided mechanical key.

The low battery warnings will notify users to change battery, though in the case they forget, the 9V battery backup terminal located at the front of the lock, ensures that users are never left stranded.
