This book provides a holistic overview of what leads to success in foreign language learning at an early age and deepens our understanding of early foreign language learning. The studies use an array of methodological approaches to research learners aged between three and ten, as well as their parents and teachers, in instructional, minimal-input settings. They describe various ways of organising and promoting very early foreign language learning, both through language policy and innovative pedagogy, and focus on ways of providing input for second language acquisition, which include oral classroom discourse strategies, as well as learner development of literacy skills. Special attention is given to the necessity to develop critical reading skills, the ability to handle multimodal texts, and attitudes, motivations and behaviours and how these may impact on the teaching and learning process. Chapters emphasise that ultimate outcomes depend on extra linguistic environmental factors, such as parental involvement and teacher competences. These include establishing control in the classroom, as well as using appropriate strategies for Negotiation of Meaning, and helping learners build positive self-concept. Once the parcel has been confirmed as lost by the carrier, we will arrange a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

We are unable to issue a refund or replacement while the parcel is still in transit or while the carrier's investigation is ongoing.

If the tracking information shows that the parcel has been successfully delivered, the order will be considered delivered. Responsibility for the parcel passes to the recipient upon confirmed delivery.

We are not responsible for any loss, theft, misplacement, or non-receipt of the parcel following confirmed delivery.

If the recipient is unable to locate the parcel after it has been confirmed as delivered, the recipient is responsible for contacting the shipping carrier directly to lodge an investigation. We are not responsible or liable for the outcome of any such investigation.

Warranty & Returns

All products sold by EXBOX Australia Pty Ltd (“EXBOX”) come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Customers are entitled to a replacement (subject to stock availability) or refund for a major failure and may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Customers are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

EXBOX does not provide advance replacements. Where a product needs to be inspected, repaired, replaced, or otherwise assessed under warranty, the customer must first return the product to EXBOX.

Unless otherwise agreed or required under Australian Consumer Law, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to EXBOX, including any shipping and insurance costs. EXBOX will cover the shipping cost of sending the repaired or replacement product back to the customer.

Any special shipping arrangements or discounts agreed to by EXBOX will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be processed within 1–3 business days.
